Breakfast for Dinner Rice

Nothing beats eating breakfast for dinner, until now. We’re blurring the lines a bit more with this savory rice dish that gives you the best of both worlds – breakfast AND dinner for… dinner.

Breakfast for Dinner Rice

1 cup Superior Selections Jasmine Rice
1 ¼ cup water
1/3 cup soy sauce
1/2 tbsp crushed red pepper flakes
¼ tsp onion powder
4 slices of bacon
2 eggs
Salt and pepper to taste

Rinse rice. Place rice and water in a saucepan. Cook according to directions on bag (approximately 18-20 minutes).

Bake four strips of bacon according to directions on container.

Once rice is finished cooking, take off heat and let cool for 3-5 minutes. Stir in soy sauce, red pepper flakes and onion powder. Chop up finished bacon and add to rice. Mix evenly.

In a skillet fry two eggs; salt and pepper to taste. Scoop rice mixture into a bowl and serve egg on top.

Serves two.
