Chocolate Peppermint Latte

This homemade, holiday drink is a sweet way to wake up this Christmas season!
5 crushed Best Choice Starlight Mints + 1 for topping
1 tsp cocoa powder
½ tsp vanilla extract
1 tbsp Superior Selections Pure Organic Maple Syrup
1 cup of your favorite Superior Selections coffee
½ cup hot milk (your choice on the kind – we used lactose free, but any will work!)
Heat milk for 1½ minutes and brew coffee. While milk is heating and coffee is brewing, combine all other ingredients (crushed mints, cocoa powder, vanilla and maple syrup) in a mug and stir together.
Once coffee and milk are finished, pour both on top of other ingredients and stir well. Top with whipped cream and an extra crushed mint. Happy Holidays!
