Slow-Cooker Sweet & Spicy Chicken Dinner

Don’t let the simplicity of this recipe fool you; it is FULL of flavor! The sweet & spicy ingredients perfectly compliment each other. Plus, it’s super easy – just 15 minutes of prep, then your slow-cooker does the rest!
4-6 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
3 tsp minced garlic
½ cup Best Choice Soy Sauce
1/3 cup Superior Selections Honey
½ cup Clearly Organic Ketchup
1 tsp Best Choice Basil Leaves
1 ½ tsp sriracha
1 ½ tsp Best Choice Red Pepper Flakes
1 cup Superior Selections Basmati Rice
1 can Clearly Organic Sweet Peas
Mix together garlic, soy sauce, honey, ketchup, basil leaves, sriracha and red pepper flakes in a medium bowl.
Place chicken breasts in the bottom of your slow cooker. Pour sweet and spicy mixture over chicken.
Place lid on the slow cooker and cook on low for 4 hours.
After 4 hours, let chicken continue to cook while you prepare 1 cup of rice according to package directions and heat up the peas. Once rice is cooked, mix in peas.
To plate, serve the chicken over a bed of rice and peas. Spoon additional sauce on top of each chicken.
